Sometimes projects take a little while to reach fruition around here. I started making these little birds for 'the baby's room' about 2 weeks before I was due...they sat around in my sewing room for 3 months till I found this perfect little branch when out strolling with Emma. When she was about six months, I found some time to glue them to the branch. A couple of months ago Ben got tired of my nagging and finally installed a hook above her cot. Yesterday, 2 weeks before her 1st birthday, they are finally in place. So almost exactly 1 year...time flies...very quickly...
